This is actually a three star, but I'm bumping it to 4 because this is the only Korean restaurant for miles around...

Not bad. Server was extremely nice, food was above avg. not much competition in the area. Place where you would see local Koreans eating...that's aways a good sign... I am a regular here.

Service, HORRIBLE! We asked what kind of beer they had and the ancient waitress told us she didn't know??? I found the beers on the menu and we ordered the Korean beer and they were out of the Korean beer! We ordered coronas instead and she brought out the coronas, with 2 glasses (one frosted, the other one not). I ordered the beef dinner box. It was just ok. It came with miso soup which tasted like warm salt water with green onion. My husband got the spicy pork dinner. The pork was pretty good. We had the dumpling appetizer, the highlight of our meal. Overall, it was just passable. Not good enough to return. I gave this place a try because of the great reviews. If you gave this place 5 stars, you never had good Korean food.

Finally a place where I can sink my soul into some Seoul food. It's out the way to call it my favorite Korean restaurant since I live 97 miles away, but it's worth the trip. My friend and I stopped in, expecting a decent meal and was wonderfully surprised by the amount of food and quality. Friendly service, "hole in the wall" in a run down shopping store area by a pawn store, dollar general, and mc donalads. The food was great, the descriptions were in English but any Korean would know exactly what they are. I ordered family style for my friend and I, she has never experienced Korean deliciousness so why not go all out? I ordered the beef bulgogi, chicken chapchae, and tofu bimibop. Bulgogi was a bit dry but still good, chapchae was excellent, and the bimibop was awesome. Great food, lovely environment, and in good company. Friendly waitress, good cooks, and good prices.

HOW IS FOOD THIS GOOD IN FORT PIERCE? I was surprised as soon as I walked through the front door, but remained immaculately elated as the dining experience continued. From the quiet and intimate atmosphere, to the delightful and insightful wait staff, to some of the freshest vegetable appetizers and steamed dumplings I've ever had in my life... And all before trying a sake flight, and falling head over heals for the pomegranate sake that I didn't even know existed! I didn't get to eat everything I wanted to try, but the beef was superb, the squid delectable, and all the spice was just right. Come here for a date, or if you want to have meal that's pleasing in every part, from start to finish, or just to feel someplace much farther away when you're a little bit close to home

Most likely the only option in Ft Pierce for Korean food. It's in a bit of a hidden location in a strip mall plaza, right next to a laundromat. We asked about the tenure at this location - 10 yrs. It seems like they'd do better business closer to downtown or SLW. Food selection, prices, and taste were pretty good. There's some dry goods available as well. I'd recommend takeout.

LOVE this local joint - food is always top notch and the server has a great memory - she always recognizes me and my order, haha! The lunch bento deal is a real value with quality food. DON'T MISS: the Veggie Pancakes, Seaweed Soup, and the Clear Potato Noodles. If you're feeling adventurous, the Bok Bun Ja Joo wine (black raspberry wine) is DELICIOUS...Oh my...and I love that all of their entrees come with the Korean veggie sides so you can sample their different offerings of the day. You guys better not go anywhere - unless you want to move the restaurant next door to my house :D

Awesome. We all had the lunch light bento box and the food was good. Service great. Actually dissuaded me from a bad choice that cost more. Subbed out the rice for a veg. Recommend you give it a try.

This restaurant has been my first true foray into Korean food and I'm a convert! You may think you know Ramen, but try the real thing - it's delicious! The rice stone bowl is yummy, the short ribs, the pickled radish, etc are all tasty! The menu is small but gives you some nice variety to try different things. It seems to be family owned and operated and they remember you from visit to visit. There's a little grocery store inside as well and I found a nifty bag of roasted chestnut kernals to snack on one day. Give it a try - it's a little gem in Fort Pierce - hidden in a rather run down shopping center off US1.

"5/5 Stars: Wonderful little place. They give you a lot of food at great prices. The meat there is amazing! The staff is friendly too. I would definitely go back!" ^ This was my previous review which was on 3/17/2013 Today is 2/12/2014 almost a year later and I'm giving the restaurant 1/5 stars. A LOT has changed since my first review. I went there with my mother today and we bought 2 sushi rolls to start off our lunch. There was some kind of cotton lint/fuzz on one of my mom's sushi. We informed the woman serving us our food and she didn't apologize nor offer to replace the roll. She said this lint/fuzz was probably from a "cloth 'they' use to wipe off the plate" ...? What? Then she says that she assures us that the "rice is fresh" ...? Again... what? Me and my mom kind of just looked at each other. We get our lunch entrees and I ordered a beef bento box and my mom ordered beef and broccoli. While eating her beef and broccoli my mother stopped chewing and had to put her fingers in her mouth. Why? Because there was a bone in her beef. It was not cartilage, gristle, or anything like that. It was a hard bone. Again, we tell the woman who is serving us and she's just like "Oh... you found a bone? Okay. I'll let 'them' know." She didn't apologize this time either and we never heard back from her about what 'they' said about both of these incidents. The place still gives really good sized portions of food, which is nice. There was nothing wrong with the way the food tasted at all. It was just that there was fuzz/lint in one of the sushi rolls and then there was a bone in the beef and broccoli my mother ordered. We are pretty full but still had a lot of food left. The woman serving us comes over and asks to take my moms plate when there is like half of the food still on it. My mom asks her why does she need to take her plate. The woman says so she can take it away. My mom says that she wants to take it home and if she could please get some to-go boxes or something. The woman acts like she's mad and says "Well, I didn't know." We look at each other and almost laugh. Like, is this woman for real? Never have we encountered a server so disrespectful. We get our to-go boxes and we pay our bill. Again, this is another opportunity for her to say she's sorry about the TWO incidences that happened during our meal at the restaurant and she doesn't take advantage of it. My mom asked for a business card and the woman who served us said they're all out. My mom and I get in our car and see the phone number outside the restaurant. We write it down and while driving to the store, we call the number. The same woman who served us answers the phone and we ask to speak to the manager. She obviously knows who we are and she goes, "Umm, what?" We repeat that we want to speak the manager. She says the manager isn't in. We ask when the manager will be in and she says tomorrow. We say okay and that's the end of the conversation. I am actually so disappointed and embarrassed that this is my mother's first impression of Korean food. I've eaten here twice before and the service was great. One time was actually when the same woman who served us today, served me and a friend. I don't know what happened but I would like to think they will try to fix this and actually apologize to people in the future if they have anything wrong with their orders and act more polite to their customers. I probably will never come back to this restaurant again.

Looks like a dive from the street, but it's actually quite a pleasant dining experience and the food is great. The only restaurant within fifty miles fully dedicated to Korean cuisine. No sushi. No egg rolls. Just real Korean food that is authentic and delicious.
